The global pandemic of COVID-19, commonly known as Coronavirus, is a fast-changing situation for health care services and an uncertain time for all. Protection of the people in our care from infection is an important part of high quality care and it also contributes to the safety of the environment for staff and the wider community. We are required to have appropriate procedures for the control of infection in place.

Insight Specialist Behavioral Service are wholeheartedly committed to ensure the health and wellbeing of their clients and staff. Insight recognizes the importance of their service users relationships with friends and loved ones which contribute to their care and support and overall quality of life. In line with Government guidance service users will be permitted visitors, this will be risk assessed within service users personal Covid-19 action plans. All visitors will be asked to complete a Lateral Flow test prior to their visit, wear appropriate PPE and follow all infection control measures. Outdoor visiting and advice to keep physical contact to a minimum where possible will be promoted. Insight ensures continuous monitoring and taking appropriate action with ongoing revised Government Guidance.

Our staff will do all they can to ensure that life in our services remain as optimal as possible for everyone that we look after.

We would really appreciate your support with these measures.
